App Camp for Girls is a one-week summer day program where girls, transgender & gender non-conforming youth can put their creative powers to work designing and building apps. They also learn about the business of software while being inspired by role models in the industry.

Interested in volunteering in 2019? Below are the planned dates. Please fill out our volunteer interest form.

2019 camps are currently being scheduled. Check back for date information in early spring.

We would also love to hear from potential organizers and volunteers in new locations for 2019 and beyond. This helps us determine where to expand the App Camp For Girls program. If you are interested in launching App Camp in your location, fill out the volunteer interest form.

If you have a particular skill or interest that could be an asset to App Camp For Girls, please let us know in the comment section on the form.

App Camp For Girls inspires an interest in software development through hands-on experience in app creation led by role models from the industry. Individuals who self-identify as female, trans*, or gender nonconforming are encouraged to apply for direct mentorship positions during Summer Camp.  All volunteers who work in direct contact with campers will be required to submit to a background check. We welcome and appreciate allies of any gender identity to volunteer in indirect roles!
